Where there is openness, learning becomes easy to perceive and flourish. Spirituality doesn’t mean only reading books and taking seminars. There are so many ways how we can spread our love and connect in our path. The openness in Kanya Campus’ staff and student body is unique and rare. From far remote regions of Western Nepal, girls are able to come to Pokhara with a full scholarship and get a quality education. The Campus Family has that energy to innovate and spread love. Today there was a celebration of Teej, the festival for women, where students composed their own songs and sang them for the school. One group today wrote about Kanya Campus as a home, where all girls gather together as one family. The students are also in their path, the path might be their diploma, but it might be so many choices and opportunities that come from their days in school. When we teach and share music, even if one’s heart is closed something will change and heal them within the music. It’s their own voice and heart that will connect them back to themself. Space and openness is so important, and both are found in this college, only what’s needed is a little outside help. We have just donated two guitars for the beginning of their music program, and we aim to donate 5 more. We are already providing volunteer teachers to give weekly music lessons at the school. May this one unique college, which is full of potential, have the chance the blossom and spread the energy of creativity and love far and wide.
