N.E.L.T.A Classroom Projector

Pokhara, Nepal - February 2021

Nelta stands for: Nepal English Language Teachers Association. The main objective behind it’s establishment was to set a common platform for all the English teachers of Nepal. All teachers from primary school to university level have the opportunity to enhance their professional skills. Resources are given without discrimination across all regions of Nepal, governmental and private sector. For the betterment of education as a whole, they’ve created this one platform for everyone’s growth.

We supported this organization in the Pokhara branch of Nelta with a new projector. The current teaching environment is such that most classrooms don’t have projectors, and in rare cases when they do teachers are often not properly trained in using the equipment, and applying modern teaching techniques to their subjects. Even this one project in Nelta headquarters, will train hundreds of the next generation of teachers who will go out and enter their classrooms with modern knowledge and understanding. As NELTA also supports teachers teaching in remote areas through training and workshops, their spread and potential affect are vast. Universal love supported Pokhara’s NELTA organization not only with this material resource, but with true spirit of love, compassion and wishes for all those who will be benefited through even one teacher or training.

Help us supply NELTA with more projectors!

One projector costs about $500 USD, and will aid in the training of countless numbers of teachers. Our goal is to supply the Pokhara branch with 3 more units. As the second largest city in Nepal, Pokhara is a hub of learning, education, and innovation. Help us get these teachers and classrooms up to modern standards!
